Thank you guys so much for all the farewell partings, the sandwiches and the phone calls before i left, it was truly heartwarming ❤ ❤ ❤
I finally arrived safely in China yesterday after getting totally “investigated” by both TSA and the Chinese version of that for being “supposively suspicious” -____-
For the next 4 weeks I will be travelling in China from “nobody knows” places like Seram Lake in Xinjiang to “everybody knows” places like Hong Kong and Beijing. Some occasions are for family visits, but others are just places I think are worth visiting before I become stationary at the Shaolin Temple for a year. So as a reader, if you are interested in reading my “travel blog” or “trouble blog” (cuz i am always so troublesome), then please check back every day or so. But if you are purely interested in my experiences as a Shaolin monk, then please check back around mid-August.
Thank you guys so much for the support, I will definitely make the best of my advantages with every experience and also share all that I can on here with y’all.
I am currently in the captial of Xinjiang province, Urumqi. It’s literally a modern intersection of the Oriental and Arab Culture, a present-day Silk Road trade stop. Check it out on google, if you gots the time 🙂
Talk to you guys soon
Sincerely, Jerry Yu Qin
